My daughter is expecting in October, and I will likely make no plans for
any events before then.

That isn't up to me, since I don't organize West Coast events. If
someone wants to organize one, then there might be one. But I wouldn't
expect Robin to do it.

Nora and I are still playing wait-and-see on whether we are willing to
do another LogFest here at some future time, but it won't be this year.

The LLG already spent a bunch of money on jbonunsla this year. We
could have one, but the LLG isn't going to be paying for it, and
given the experience I've been having lately with the helpfulness of
the community, I'm not inclined to put any significant effort into
drumming up money or attendees.
