All recent projects of filling gaps in vocabulary (FunctionalList, nuclear physics terms, semantic lists of most important terms in any language)
have been moved to this list. This has been done in order to simplify the whole process. Just choose the topic that you like and start creating vocabulary for it.

Also I'm gonna create new tabs in this gugl. gredile vreji (Google spreadsheet file) in order to place parallel translations of different texts there in several languages (of course No 1 column is always Lojban, other languages are world natlangs).

Please, join the project.
If you feel that you need another topic-specific tab don't hesitate to create it and then inform us about your work.
Any help is appreciated.

I just looked at that file, and it's nice.
I got out my 5-language thematic computer dictionary to see if I could add some terms, but it's almost completely obsolete, from 1972. (Hungarian, German, English, Russian, Esperanto)

A new tab called "gismu cognates". gismu that sound very similar to words in other languages like
dansu ~ dance
ckule ~ school

If you wanna fill in the list for a language other than English just add a corresponding column.

If there is a word in english or another language which is pronounced similar but with a different meaning, is that also a "gismu cognate" ?

What is the idea of this wordlist? Is this list going to be exported into jbovlaste once it is complete?

What is LFN?

I've noticed you're using the word {vlipa} for "force (physics)". I think physical force is a more direct concept, not a latent potential of having the power to do something, but something that acts directly on something, so I suggest {bapli}, {mujbai} or something similar. What do you think?

No. Some time ago Timo asked us about words that sound the same in lojban and english. He needed that for his presentation. We edoidnt have that and had to recall them without profound thinking.
So now I want to find all such words for english and other languages in order to present lojban as a verbally-intuitive language (in cases when we 'll be faced by such a problem).

The main idea is to fill gaps in lojbanic lexicon.
1. Into jvs.
2. Into tatoeba.
3. There is at least one tab  that is called "semantic list". Grouping words into a thesaurus or a dictionary a la CycL/Upper ontology/Roget etc. would also be nice.

Note that i placed some other projects like translating books, stories and poems there. I don't think there serioud limitations in Google docs for spreadsheets with large number of tabs.

What is LFN?

It's a list taken from Lingua Franca Nova dictionary. If you don't like it don't fill it.
la jbojba has many tabs. Choose the one that you like.
If you don't like any please create another tab and put your favorite lists there.

If you wanna other people to join your translation project you can import the source text of the book/story/song/poem there and inform us here about your project.
So it's a crowd-sourcing project not only for filling the vocabulary.

I think nothing. I'm not n expert in those things. Why not  {danre}?

I should also note that jbovlaste in it's current version can't fufil the goals of la jbojba.

e.g. let's take English word "Sorry!"
How to say that in lojban? Where in jbovlaste you can find it?
Not an easy task to figure out that it's basically {u'u}.

Therefore, unfortunately i'll have to keep such stuff in la jbojba until jvs is fixed.

Isn't it just possible to edit {u'u} in jbovlaste and there add the keyword {sorry (one sense)} ?

I wish I could. But we can't edit official definitions.

Another point is semantic class to which each word belongs. There is no such functionality yet except notes. But we can't build mind maps using that.

Adding a gloss word is not editing a definition. And if you mean you don't have the permissions needed to get to {.u'u}'s edit page, well, that's a personal problem, because I'm looking at it right now.

Adding a gloss word is not editing a definition.

True, but unfortunately it's not allowed.
