So, I tell you what! We are holding a DESIGN CONTEST! We need designs for t-shirts and stickers to sell on our new market place. It really
should be in Lojban, but go ahead and surprise us if you want. The top three winning designers will receive an LLG logo sticker (the cartesian-venn logo) courtesy of the LLG. All profits go directly to the LLG which in turn goes to supporting the folks working on finishing the revised CLL, other LLG/BPFK projects, and various expenses for our annual convention, Logfest (coming up on the 7th and 8th of July in San Mateo, California. We have plenty of room if you want to come!). Submit designs by email to thelogicall...@gmail.com or post links in the comments below!

Well, I have no idea who designed it, but I think the shirt that says "ganai do jimpe dei gi do gletu nitcu" should be included.

Original in English in various places online and in meatspace. I
started a translation, and various people improved on it. Still got
the shirt in my closet. Still occasionally comes out.

"mi claxu levi creka segi'u trina" (inspired by similar Esperanto
T-shirt, although not literally translated from Esperanto; intended
for girls, of course)

Yes, exactly. In fact you've put this in English better than I probably could.
Also obligatory: "mi xebni lo creka poi te ciska".

Cyril, I'm going to be using your two suggestions in our merch line.
Once it's up, would you like a free sticker? =P
(You're technically our contest winner.)

If anybody else has shirt/sticker ideas, please let me know!

So, we're looking into who can produce our merchandise. The biggest problem seems to be how much we have to charge. The *cheapest* we've seen for individual (read: non-bulk) orders is 15$ for a plain white shirt with a design. So, to make any kind of money, we'd have to mark it up. That brings it to... let's just say 20$. Now unless you  surpass some number (around 50?) of dollars on your order you'll also end up paying shipping, which we'll laughably say 5$ even though that could vary a lot in either direction.

So,  somebody is paying 25$ for a shirt and we're making 5$ off of it.
That doesn't seem fair for the buyer or us.

Suggestions?

SplitReason is an online t-shirt store that gives it's affiliates a 23.5% commission on any shirt purchased through them. The typical price is ~US$18, so that's $4 for the LLG per shirt. I haven't done the math, but I think that's slightly better:

Speaking of, I found SplitReason because it's the store a webcomic I read, Real Life Comics, uses to sell their shirts. Most of the webcomics I read have some sort of t-shirt selling practice in place, it might be in our interest to look at the ones we collectively read to see how thier solutions stack up against each other and find out how we can get through the door on them.

I have a group of eight online comics that I've started reading, but the only one that I read regularly is Escape from Terra http://www.bigheadpress.com/eft .
