Hello,
i'm currently listening to the song Fat Cat Wants Tasty Fish from
Teleidofusion and was wondering how it would sound if the lyrics were
in lojban. So, how would you say "Cat wants to see fish." [sic] in
Lojban?

I tried to think of the sentence as a relation between the cat and its
desire for the act of seeing fish.
So, how about the following?
lo mlatu cu djica lenu lo finpe se viska

Or would you rather use du'u instead of nu?
lo mlatu cu djica ledu'u lo finpe se viska

Thanks in advance,
Paul

I'd probably leave out the {se} and just do {lo mlatu ku djica lo nu viska lo finpe}.  Or if I was looking to shorten it up a bit so it better matched the rythme of the original I might do {lo mlatu cu finpe viska djica}.  It's still twice as long but is at least a little bit shorter.
