[lojban-beginners] How to say "Things beginning with N"

I've come up with {ro da poi se valsi lo lerfu se pamoi be me'o ny},
assuming {me'o} is the way to talk about letters. This also assumes
that words are sequences of letters, which may be far-fetched. And
also that valsi2 are things named by words, eg. {lo plise ku se valsi
zo plise}.

Sounds good. Words are sequences of letters, but they are more than that:
"lobmau" and "jbozma" are the same word, but not the same sequence of letters.

Also, words may be sequences of letters when written, but not when spoken. Does {me'o ny} refer more to a written symbol than a sound?
