Counterfactual (as opposed to logical) "if" can be slightly
controversial in lojban, but I think that {va'o da'i} is pretty well
accepted and understood.

I suggest "cnegau" or "galfi" rather than "tikygau". x1 of stika is
something that causes change, not something that changes, stikygau
means "x1 makes x2 change x3 in amount x4".
