There are a lot of Pride in the Plaza events happening this week, but I wanted to draw your attention to a virtual event happening on Thursday, June 23, 2022 7pm-8:30pm on Zoom. This event is an opportunity for LGBTQ+ MCPS students to talk about their experiences in schools and throughout Montgomery County. It will be moderated by MoCo Pride Youth, MCPS’ LGBTQ+ student advocacy group and they are AMAZING and have tons of insight to share.
SSL Hours will be provided to MCPS students who attend, so please pass this on to any young folks you think might be interested! Aspiring adult allies, please attend and listen with me! We have lots to learn.
