Passionate about special education!?! Please consider becoming a leader of the MCCPTA Special Education Committee.  We are looking for a Chair and a Vice Chair to carry on this important work.

As the Chair of the MCCPTA Special Education Committee, you will decide what to focus on and how much time you can dedicate.  You will be offered opportunities to represent and advocate on behalf of the MCCPTA Special Education Committee in various MCPS meetings and within the MCCPTA organization.  This role offers the opportunity to work closely with local PTAs, MCPS families, leaders in the MCPS Special Education office, the Special Education Advisory Committee (led by MCPS), and outside organizations to further special education advocacy. 

Stephanie Frumkin and Rachel Tate are stepping down as the MCCPTA SEC Chair and Vice Chair at the end of their term on June 30--we thank them for their service!  However, Stephanie will remain available to offer guidance to the incoming committee leaders and is willing to take on a lesser role in the committee, such as Facebook group support.
