MCCPTA Green Schools Initiative and Meeting Information

The MCCPTA is reaching MCPS parents, students, staff and interested community partners who are interested in outdoor and green schools advocacy initiatives that are being organized by the MCCPTA Green Schools Subcommittee. 

Some of the working groups for the MCCPTA Green Schools committee include: 

• outdoor wellness (eat, play, learn!)
• climate action and sustainability
• green schoolyard / outdoor infrastructure
• student action support
• Green School certification support
