I made my minecraft account in around 2011. I only ever used my username to log into the account. Well recently I tried logging into my account and I'm told that my account has been migrated and that I need to use an email to log in. I don't know what email to use because I never migrated the account. I don't even remember ever associating an email with the account and also I don't think I payed through paypal and the card that I would have used for it is long gone so I don't know how to get a transaction id. I don't know what to do and contacting mojang is such a problem. Somebody please help me get my account that I payed for back. It's so annoying to not be able to pay on the account that I PAYED FOR. Mojang has been of no help and I cannot find any number to even call them. I know the password that the account used for 4 or 5 years and I also know the internet service provider that was used when it was created and possibly the ip address if that hasn't changed.
If your account was migrated by soemone else there isnt really a way to prove if the account was or was not yours.. This is why the only proof to your account is the transaction id. Unfortunately as it says on the Mojangs support page you will need a transaction id (its not because mojang isnt trying to help you its mainly for security reasons) anyways heres a quote from their website:
