Anatolii Ivanovich Mal'tsev (1909-1967) was an important early
contributor to the development of model theory. There is an
announcement of a Mal'tsev conference at:

The announcement can be read in Russian and in English.

The international conference on algebra, mathematical logic, and
applications will be held in Novosibirsk (Russia) on May 2-6, 2010.
This conference is dedicated to the 70th birthday of Yurii Leonidovich
Ershov.
