Working with ns

Hi everyone. Hope you're well. 

Please if anyone could help me out here? 

I'm working with a medley with 5 songs. I wanted to split the region in between the songs, so that I could cut and paste them, etc. etc. 

I ended up with a few extra tracks which I'm not sure how that could've happened ... but anyway ... 

I tried the new method and the old method of selecting regions and none of them seems to be very reliable. 

It says that my first region starts at bar 1, and iqt ends at bar 65. 

But when I go to the next region, and go to it's start, it takes me to bar 122? 

There are no other regions on the track. 

Please help.
