Hi Cameron,
Well, yesterday I bought the Omnisphere 2 package and I've got it
working and here's what I think you're missing.
1. Make sure you've copied the files into the correct places.
What I did was to go into the databaseFiles folder in the package. In
there there are 2 folders disk_database and image.
first copy the disk_database folder into /users/shared/ni resources folder.
next, go into the image folder from the package. In there, there's an
Omnisphere folder. Copy that omnisphere folder into the image folder
inside the image folder in ni resources above.
next, go into the preset files folder in the package. In there is an
Omnisphere folder. Copy that folder to
your documents/native instruments/user content.
Then run Komplete Kontrol go to preferences and rescan your plugins.
As you know, you'll need a pair of working eyes to do that.
Now, I'm assuming you've done all that correctly, but the installation
instructions did not at least to my mind, make it clear that you've
got to copy those individual sub folders to those locations.
OK, here's the piece I think you'r missing.
2. locate the omnisphere product.
when you're using Komplete Kontrol, all the Native Instruments plugins
are on the same page and the 3rd-party products are on a different
page. So to get access to the library
1. press preset browse
2. press page right- the right-most of the 2 little square buttons
just to the left of the 8 round buttons in the centre of the keyboard.
Then browse omnisphere in the same way as you would the NI products.
I'm very impressed with the level of access we're getting to the
Omnisphere parameters.
Give me a shout if this is still not working for you.
