So I'm curious to know, is logic accessible right at the box? Do I need to download or install anything along with it? I don't know what keyboard maestro, logic magician, or keyboard ninja is, but I heard that I need to install these to make logic accessible? Is that true, or can I use logic pretty well without these?
Cheers,

Some folkss use these helps but I never have. I think that you will find Logic useable out of the box. These other programs are helps.

Logic Pro is pretty accessible out of the box, and I offer a free getting started course that helps you get up and running with Logic and some VoiceOver settings through to getting your first recordings done. LogicKeyboardNinja is a key command file I created that adds a lot more key commands than what logic has assigned by default At the very least I’d recommend grabbing the LogicKeyboardNinja key commands file. Logic Magician is an enhancement tool that will make using Logic a lot more efficient. Logic Magician takes what’s already accessible about logic and allows for faster ways of doing things or providing spoken feedback where none may be or giving you a few different options for navigating etc. Logic Magician is free, but does require Keyboard Maestro which is a paid app with a free trial period. So if you want to use Logic Magician then you will need to also have Keyboard Maestro as well. Logic Magician also includes LogicKeyboardNinja as well.
Let me know if you got any other questions.

hi logic gang

i have a bunch of audio files that are sound effects.
i want to assign each sound file to a key on my midi keyboard.
so that playing a key will play the sound effect.

thanks for any help getting started with this.

Hello:
I think the best thing is to use the logic sampler, so you can get all your audio regions into 1 sampler track, that you can tweek using your keyboard.
