Hi guys. I have a quick question. 

I have recently updated my mac, logic, and downloaded the new LM from the site as well as updated keyboard maistro . 

I haven't been working with Logic for quite a few months, and find myself forgetting most of the commands. 

Is there a keyboard shortcut list? 

I wanted to split a region twice, so that I can delete the middle one. 

Pressing control options left and right arrows I can navigate between the regions, but the playhead doesn't move along with it. So if I press space to play, it stays where I pressed space to stop. 

So that one is a bit confusing. 

I'm still pressing command 2 to get to the mixer. 

I have heard that it's no longer necessary with LM? Would appreciate some help here thanks.

I’m not using LM at the time, so for me, I have to press control home to move the play head to the start of the currently selected region. Hope that helps

Hi.  Have you checked for an appendix or two in the back of the Logic Pro user guide from Apple?  It's sometimes possible to find the list of commands in that fashion.  Another approach is using option-k to get to he list of Logic Pro keyboard commands inside the app itself, and you can filter those commands to reduce their numbers to something more manageable.  You can also search for commands.   I am guessing there is probably a way to copy and email them all to yourself, too, and then you can do some boring editing, but in the end, you would have a list of the most relevant commands arranged to your satisfaction.  Finally, I believe Steve Oreo Monster Martin did a video tutorial on using the option-k keyboard compilation in Logic Pro.  You might find that video useful if you decide to try option-k.

This is more than just keyboard commands. You installed LM but you may not have done some of the Logic  or Mac OS settings. Also if this was a project you started using  before using LM, then you may need to right click (VO Shift M) on the control bar and select apply defaults after following the Logic Pro set up steps.

This guide covers the basics and should hopefully get you sorted out.

Hi. I got it working just by pressing left and right arrows to select regions, and shift plus space to play from beginning of the region. 

That was what I was struggling with with the other mode. No way to play from beginning of the region. The playhead stays in one place.

If you look at the link I sent you it does in deed explains how you can use left and right arrows to select regions and move to the start of them with that one key command with Logic Magician 

Also for everything that already has a tutorial demonstrating how it works that tutorial is linked there so you can see working examples.
