Logic magician not working, but it could be my fault, Advice?

Hi all. While learning this new MK3-S61 keyboard, and all that it entailed, My logic and logic magician got messed up.

My logic installation went to 12, and I didn’t have a clue that it was automatically updating. I have no backups of logic 11 to make Logic Magician work correctly. Are there any fixes for me or am I just out of luck until an installer for magician 12 comes along?

I probably can wait if I have to if I know what views to set and customize.

I did not realize that logic magician doesn’t work yet for logic 12. I have not upgraded to logic 12 and I don’t have logic magician. But this is very interesting.

It works with 12, so that wouldn’t be the reason why. Would need to know more to assist. What happens when you press Control Escape to turn Logic Magician on for starters.

Logic magician does toggle off and on as it should, but my views are messed up. For example, I can no longer see the piano role layouts, and sometimes keyboard ninja wants to give me all kinds of error messages, and then kick out. Could keyboard ninja or logic be the problem?

I assume you mean keyboard maestro are giving you error messages? Can you give an example of what you do that gives an error message? When you say the piano roll view is messed up, Is this after you open the Piano Roll with Command 4?

When I open a project, depending on what I do keyboard maestro will give me error messages of different kinds, saying that a macro failed with a bunch of numbers and strings at the end of it. When I opened the piano role view with command for I get a view similar to what you would get if you were working in a region with move left handle and move right handle which I know is not normal. Is it possible that I could have messed up my view settings as well? At that time, I was dealing with a lot of things at one time. Trying to get all of the native instruments software installed, and a drive that was lower on disc space than I would’ve liked. I had to figure all of that out as well. I could have inadvertently messed something up, but I sure hope not.

Are you only getting macro fail errors? Did you set up the default control bar layout according to the documentation, and if so if this is an existing project and not a new project you will also need to then in the existing project set the control bar to apply defaults after setting the defaults with the template project.
Regarding the Piano Roll, It sounds like you are interacting with the individual notes in the Piano Roll layout area.

I think I got everything fixed now. I read through the documentation and followed the instructions and everything appears to be working as it should. Thanks for all of the help and suggestions, it is definitely appreciated.
