I mostly abandoned Logic Pro when the MIDI Editor became unusable for us. I know there’s the piano roll, but I struggled with it. Maybe I’ll revisit it. Any improvements to accessibility in those areas with Logic 12? As a supplemental question which just occurred to me, does Logic Magician make any improvements in either of those areas? I love how OSAR makes the Piano Roll so easy to use in Reaper.

Thanks

Hey Hohn,

Hope things are well with you over there. I haven’t had a chance to go through everything in Logic Pro 12 in depth but Logic Magician does make working with the  Piano Roll a lot more efficient and has since it’s been available. You can browse the Logic Magician documentation to get an idea of what you can do in the  Piano Roll.

As time permits I’ll definitely be playing with 12 and it’s new features more but for now from working with a student in the piano Roll yesterday in V12 things seem to be working With LM as intended.
