Question about project audio files

Hello,

in the Audio folder of an project are old files, which i removed in the project. I did the cleanup in the file menu and selected the option that all unused files should be deleted.

After this operation are still many unused files in the audio folder. These files are definitely not used in any region in my project. Some are from old projects when i saved the old project as a new project.

So i deleted the files manually in finder. Now when i open the project comes up an error message, that these files are missing, but they are definitely not in any track. During the cleanup, i deleted also all project alternatives.

In the project audio window in logic is only the file listed which i still use in the project.

Has anybody an idea, how i can remove the error message of missing files?

Hey there:

is there any skip or ok button that you can press?

anyway, please follow these steps next time you need to clean up your audio folder:

to Clean your project from all unused files, do the following:

Step 1:

• while you are on any track? hit F to open the media browser.

• Press Shift+U to select all unused files.

• hit Backspace to delete all of them.

Step 2:

go to: FIle/project management/clean project.

• select all things and press return.
