Sometimes when I use Logic Magician to adjust track parameters, it consistently only changes a certain track. Even though I change the focus with the arrows, it only adjusts one specific track’s volume when I use Command plus the up and down arrows. This problem is with Logic Magician though, because if I use Logic keyboard commands to mute, solo, or do anything else to tracks, it correctly adjusts the selected track. I tried to focus the track by going into the track header and using VO plus Space on tracks but that didn’t work either. Also, when I use commands such as V to hear the currently selected track’s volume, it again reports the volume for that one track, not the one I select with the arrows. How can I fix this?

Hi Mert

Two reasons. You either switched LM focus to secondary track with control tab, or you have two or more tracks with identical names.
Check with T key the name of selected track, if it’s not the one you selected with arrow keys, then your focus is on secondary track, so just hit control tab to return focus to the primary one.
Or in second case, if you have two or more tracks with the same name, well, LM can get confused in that case. Rename second track or if you really insist on having multiple tracks with same name, just make one character difference, like add one or more spaces at the end of the track name.

Hey, thank you so much! Yup, I had switched to the secondary track, and that was the reason why. Now it works perfectly fine.

Hi everyone.
Can anyone recommend a disc cleaner please?
I am having trouble with storage on my mac's drive. System data is taking up a huge amount of space. I have researched and understand I can get rid of files within the caches folder but knowing me, I'll delete something crucial for the running of my mac. :)
So thought I'd try a disc cleaner before I resort to formatting the drive.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers,
Claire.

Second vote for CleanMyMac.
I’ve been using it for around 7 years or so.  Got it running on a very old MacBook Pro 2012 and a M1 Mac.  Fully accessible with VO and it’s packed with all sorts of maintenance tools.  There’s a 7 day trial and you can get the app from

Hi Keith and Barry.
Thank you for replying to my enquiry about disc cleaners. I will definitely have a look at clean my mac. I did download Onyx but it hasn't cleared much to be honest.
Cheers,
Claire.
