performance issue in logic

[Ice Bond Music]

Hello,

sometimes logic does not plays back when starting the playback function.  i tried to move the loop to another position and there it plays then i move the loop back and it plays back correctly. But sometimes this does not work and i close the project and reopen.

It seems this is a caching and loading problem.

My mac is a mini mac m2 with 16 GB ram and 512 GB ssd.

Should i have more ram or more processor power to solve the problem?

Sounds like you got a capable machine, I’d look at how full your HD is for a start.

Tahnks for the tip! The ssd has more than 300 GB free space, so it seems to be another reason.

Definitely don’t think it’s your system specs. If you have projects on an external HD try running active projects off the internal drive and see if that improves things.

Okay, thank your for the tip! But The data is all on the internal SSD, but could it be that I need to allocate more system memory to Logic Pro, or does Logic Pro automatically reserve enough temporary memory for processing?

 I think, i found the solution. It seems, that komplete kontrol caused the problem. After i updated komplete kontrol and all native instruments plugins the problem did not occur.
