I've been curious about this one for a while, since I like late model dirt racing. I didn't buy it due to it being $10 at launch, but I saw it was only $2 right now on the eShop. I have about $1.47 in Gold points, so I wound up getting it for just a little over 50. Here are my first impressions:
It is definitely a straight-up mobile port, there is no doubt about that. However, the racing is actually fun and decent for the kind of game it is. Game runs at a rock-solid 60 FPS (no surprise there), you can customize your cars (there are 5 different vehicles for the 5 championships), and there's even a somewhat active online multiplayer community (around 100 active users at time of play). Sound mixing is off, but I fully expected this. It will drive some people nuts, so be warned. It is fun, but it is also what it is: A cheap dirt track racer that's honestly worth nothing above the $2 they're asking for right now.
