What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Turn filtering on
2. Set filter that does not produce output (eg. *:s)
3. Start filter, stop/restart service (buttons "Save and restart"
or "Stop").

Service should stop sending log and taskbar icon should disapear, but
configuration activity stops responding and system shows stop/wait/report
dialogue.
