Dog chewed through Ethernet cable

Hey all,

So our dog just chewed through the Ethernet cable that was coming from the wall and after opening up the outlet to see what would be required to fix it it seems to be well above our capabilities (see photos below).  

Anyone ever had this happen?  If so, were you able to fix it yourself?  

We reached out to the Google Fiber team and they said it would be over a week before they could send someone to take a look, during which time we of course would have no internet (we both work from home so that would suck).

Our unit has two place where we have the connection guest bedroom and master bedroom. Maybe you can move it over to the other one for the time being

You need an RJ45 crimp tool, like this one;

Not sure where else you can get one.  Might be too specific for Best Buy to carry.  Need a nerdier place like a Radioshack.  You need to cut the wire back behind the dog bite section and use the tool to strip the wires and add the new connector.
