Sink backup

Hi. Has anyone else’s kitchen sink backed up today like it had a few weeks back? Mine has from unit 310.

Hi Vanessa,

I was not around much yesterday, so I did not notice the sink backing up. Was it bad with the murky water again? Did it linger for a while and then clear out eventually? Wondering what information you can provide since we had the hydro-jetting and pumping out the catch basins last Wednesday/Thursday, so I would have thought this issue would be fixed for a while. We may need the plumbers to come back out.

Hi Meredith,

When I got home in the evening, my sink was half full but then flushed down later on. It continued to come back up with murky water like you said and eventually flush back down. It’s doing exactly what it had a few weeks back when others were also having issues. I am gone for most of the day but will see how it is when I return this evening. Thanks.

The sink water was drained when I got home today but if I turn on the water, it sits for a while before draining. I also tried to use the disposal and it spewed murky water all over. I think they’ll need to come back out..

Hi Vanessa,

The property manager said that Power Plumbing needed an additional day to finish the work from last week but cars do not need to be moved this time, so they are coming back on Thursday to finish. 

Also, she mentioned that we should be sure to report all issues via the portal for proper tracking and record.
