Darwin Sidewalk Solidarity action this week

Hi Neighbors,

I want to pass on a message from the Darwin Elementary (the CPS school next door to us!) administration. St. Sylvester, Funston, Logan Square Elementary and other schools in our neighborhood are organizing similar efforts.  

“Darwin neighbors and friends, 

Sidewalk solidarity action is needed daily starting Monday, October 6th for entrance and dismissal during the key times of  7:30-8:15 am & 2:30- 3:30pm. Post up at street corners with signs in support of families as they travel on to school to create a safe passage. Supporters maybe also hand out flyers. Please invite others that would like to help.

Medill Albany"

There will be signs for people to hold saying "Somos Darwin" and "Darwin Unidos".  If you are interested in joining a Signal group where larger neighborhood efforts are being coordinated, here is the link.
