Ever wanted to learn how to create your own best-practice compost or worm farm? Here's your chance. The Griffith EcoCentre has teamed up with Brisbane City Council to show you how to start your own worm farm or compost heap, or if you've already started, to answer any burning questions you might have. Join Waste Educator, Clytie Binder, to learn how best to break down your organic household waste, reduce landfill, help minimise greenhouse gas emissions and invest rich nutrients back into your garden and produce.

Clytie Binder is a Waste Educator with Brisbane City Council, encouraging schools, community groups, business and individuals to reduce their waste. She is passionate about sustainability and her background includes establishing a community garden, professional development seminars for teachers on school gardening and working for Northey St City Farm. Clytie never gets tired of talking about waste, worms and compost!
