I wish to use log4jdbc/log4j on my application as it runs as a
service.
If I run the application using a batch file it finds the log4j
properties file with out a problem.
If I run my application as a service it cannot find it.
I have tried a number of location including, stuffing it inside of
jars.
We use wrapper.exe from Tanuki SW to run it as a service.

Are you talking about the log4j properties file or the log4jdbc
properties file?
If it's the former, that's a log4j issue.
