log4jdbc and MSSQL print statements

Is it possible for log4jdbc to log the PRINT statements found in stored procedures with SQL Server?

If there is a way to get at those via JDBC, then log4jdbc could certainly be modified to do it. I think this would be very useful and I could in fact use this feature myself. But not sure how to get at that info (or if it's even possible.)

Maybe via warnings? 

Any ideas?
