Telehealth is reshaping the future of healthcare, and now you can build the skills to lead with confidence. Created in collaboration with Duke University faculty, these new Telehealth Specializations give you practical training to deliver safe, impactful, and patient-focused virtual care. These Specializations are short and accessible, with an estimated four-week duration and a commitment of just three hours per week, making them ideal for busy healthcare workers just like you.
Telehealth Specializations:
Essentials, Teamwork, and HEENT Exam Specialization – perform virtual exams of the head, eyes, ears, nose, and throat, and determine when in-person care is needed.
Essentials, Teamwork, and Musculoskeletal Exam Specialization – conduct general and joint-specific evaluations of upper and lower extremities in a virtual setting.
Essentials, Teamwork, and Cardiopulmonary Exam Specialization – strengthen your ability to assess and manage cardiopulmonary conditions through remote care.
Essentials, Teamwork, and Neurologic Exam Specialization – develop confidence in performing neurological exams via telehealth to support diagnosis and care planning.
Essentials, Teamwork, and Dermatology Specialization – learn to evaluate skin, lesions, and dermatological concerns effectively through telehealth.
All five Specializations share the same two core courses – Telehealth Clinical Essentials and Telehealth: Interprofessional Team-Based Care – along with a final assessment course specific to each Specialization. Because of this, after completing your first Specialization, you can earn additional Specializations by taking just the third assessment course from any of these Telehealth Specializations, adding even more skills to your telehealth toolbox.
Whether you are preparing for residency, expanding your clinical practice, or strengthening your ability to collaborate in patient care, these flexible online programs will help you thrive and be a leader in the telehealth-driven future.
