Sustainability Education Graduate Certificate
Ready to turn your commitment to sustainability into real-world impact? The fully online Sustainability Education Graduate Certificate equips educators, advocates and community leaders with the tools to address climate and sustainability challenges — always with equity at the center. You’ll explore global and local perspectives, learn from diverse knowledge systems and apply what you learn through hands-on projects you can use right away.
This program is one of the College of Education’s top-ranked Online Master of Education and Graduate Certificate in Education programs. Apply by Feb. 15 to start the week of March 23.
Master of Veterinary Science
Designed for animal health professionals at every stage, this flexible program offers a practical education that supports diverse career paths in animal health. You can choose from two distinct majors to match your career goals:
Applied Veterinary Science — Strengthen your practical understanding of animal health and data-driven decision making across diverse veterinary and biomedical fields. (Offered online or on campus)
Livestock Systems Health — Gain the knowledge to improve animal health and productivity through population-based approaches to disease prevention and health management.
With applied coursework, a capstone project (no thesis required) and one-on-one mentorship from experienced faculty, this program equips you with the skills, knowledge and Illinois network to advance your career — whether you’re preparing for veterinary school, stepping into a leadership role or exploring new directions in animal health.
The early action deadline for summer and fall is March 1. The final application deadline for summer is March 15, and the Final Application Deadline for fall is May 1.
Master of Translation and Interpreting
This fully online program prepares you to thrive in global careers as a translator, interpreter or multilingual project leader. You’ll gain hands-on experience in translation technologies, cross-cultural communication and specialized terminology while choosing a focus in professional, literary or conference and community interpreting. With support for dozens of language pairs and instruction from renowned faculty and industry practitioners, the program equips you with the skills and credentials to break down language barriers, connect cultures and lead in an increasingly interconnected world.
