As the Northern Hemisphere waits expectedly for warmer months, Air Astana announced today it has switched to its 2023 spring-summer schedule. The new operating schedule will be effective from March 26th to October 29th, 2023.
Air Astana operates from two main hubs in Kazakhstan, its home base at Almaty International Airport (ALA) and the nation's capital Astana at Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport (NQZ). The schedule changes announced today include services from both those airports and include the following.
The spring-summer schedule includes the relaunch of some seasonal services and the continuance of others. From Almaty, seasonal services from Almaty to Bodrum (Turkey), Heraklion (Greece), Podgorica (Montenegro), and Batumi (Georgia) will be relaunched. Similarly, services from Astana to Podgorica will resume at three flights per week.
Air Astana Airlines, the national carrier of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is based in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The airline operates scheduled international and domestic flights on 64 routes, from its main hub at Almaty International Airport and secondary hub at Astana International Airport. It operates a fleet of 34 aircraft, mainly Airbus, Boeing and Embraer.
Kazakh flag carrier Air Astana introduces an expanded 2018 summer schedule on 25th March, which features a number of new routes, together with widespread increases in service frequencies across the network from both Astana and Almaty, both of which are hubs for the operator.
Enhancements include a new twice-weekly service from Atyrau to Frankfurt, which launched on March 26, and new services from Astana to Tyumen (three) and Kazan (one), both in Russia, which will commence in early June. The service frequency to Kazan will increase to three times a week later in the year.
The summer schedule will see Air Astana serving 30 cities in 21 countries, including 13 cities in five CIS countries, Georgia, and Ukraine; serving Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Baku, Dushanbe, Bishkek, Tashkent, Tbilisi, and Kyiv in Ukraine. The domestic network covers 12 cities across Kazakhstan including Almaty, Astana, Aktau, Atyrau, Aktobe, Uralsk, Shymkent, Kyzylorda, Oskemen, Pavlodar, Kostanay, and Karaganda.

ASTANA. Nov 16 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan's KazMunayGas (KMG) oil and gas company has a smooth schedule for repaying debt that totals nearly $8.4 billion, Magzum Mirzagaliyev, KMG executive board chairman, said on Wednesday at a press conference in Astana.
"The total debt of our company as of June 30, or, in other words, according to the results of the first half of 2022, is, speaking in dollars, 8.366 billion," Mirzagaliyev said at the press conference, adding that, "We have a fairly smooth, easy repayment schedule for our debts to investors."
