Upgrading from Original Locuszoom (python 2.7 & R)

I have a local copy of the original locuszoom on my machine that I use for production batch runs.  I'm migrating to a newer linux server that doesn't allow the old python 2.7 version due to security issues.

What do you suggest as the best upgrade path?   Is there a python 3 version available?
