Position Information
Flexible position available for a part-time or full-time employee. This will be in our Gosnells clinic, although there is a possibility of transferring to our Bibra Lake clinic in the future. 0-12 year old client population with a mix of private clients and NDIS. Mostly clinic based with some travel to schools/childcare centres for variety.
Our clinics are well resourced with a range of assessments, therapy tools, toys and games. We have lots of systems and templates in place to make day to day tasks easier!
Experience working as a paediatric Speech Pathologist is preferred, however new graduates are also encouraged to apply. Extra, personalised support is provided for new graduate and early career therapists.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor/Masters degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent
- Membership (Certified Practicing) Speech Pathology Australia
- Ability to engage with children and their families.
- Assessment and therapy skills for early communication, language and speech sounds.
- Own transport
- Ability to manage time well and be organised.
- Excellent interpersonal skills within a team, with clients, referrers and others you will be in contact with, including strong verbal and written communication.
- Willingness to continue learning and having fun!
Desirable Skills
- Experience with literacy assessment and therapy
- Experience with paediatric feeding and mealtime population
