Hi STORK members,

First of all, I would like to apologize for the outreach silence from me over the last few months!

However, I am glad to say that we are back with a journal club on February 7th! We will discuss the preprinted chapter 1 from the forthcoming STORK book (Research Methods in Sport and Exercise Science: An Open Access Primer). This chapter introduces foundational philosophical concepts important to the sport and exercise sciences including: ontology, epistemology, axiology, logic, reasoning, and inference.

The chapter is available here: https://doi.org/10.51224/SRXIV.366

Please share with your networks, this journal club is open to everybody. I'm looking forward to having a discussion with you all about the chapter and your thoughts on your own positions.

Best,
Jenny

P.S. My email is always open for discussion or suggestions for future journal clubs so please feel free to reach out!
