GSG VI rapier classes

Greetings all.

GSG VI is happening in the Barony of Ynys Fawr 3rd to 6th October (a
long weekend for many states). Classes in Arts and Sciences. rapier and
heavy combat are being offered. There are classes already scheduled in
the rapier stream on specific topics, but we are considering running a
session or two for those of you who know that rapier is part of our SCA
culture but nothing more.

Consequently it has occurred to us that this would be a golden
opportunity for those of you who are curious about rapier to learn how
rapier fits into SCA culture, what you have to do to get started (not
much actually), how the Guild of Defence works, etc., etc.

There will be no less than 6 dons in attendance and other rapier
devotees, all willing and able to talk to you and answer any questions
you may have about this exciting activity in the SCA.

If you are already a rapier fighter and were not sure whether to come to
Ynys Fawr, let us know what you would like to see taught. After all this
collegium is for all.
