PRW Capital Projects TeamThe City of Berkeley manages Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) across the city to modernize aging facilities, improve accessibility, meet current safety standards, and support evolving community needs. Investments in park and facility improvements help strengthen recreational programming, protect neighborhood vitality, and build our shared social infrastructure. The Department of Parks, Recreation & Waterfront (PRW) leads its own Capital Improvement Division, made up of three working groups overseeing projects throughout Berkeley and at the City’s residential camps in Tuolumne, Sonoma, and El Dorado counties. PRW projects support parks, recreation centers, pools, sports fields, public restrooms, open spaces, camps, and the Berkeley Marina and Waterfront. |
