Please click here to acknowledge receipt of this messageClick here for more information on this alert.This is an AC Alert message from the City of Berkeley.Residents should be aware that during the week of June 23rd the Berkeley Fire Department will be conducting wildfire response exercises in the Grizzly Peak/Tilden Park area. There will be an increased presence of fire apparatus in these areas on June 24, 26, and 28 from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm each day. This may look like a real incident, but it is a planned exercise, and there is no cause for concern.These exercises are in coordination with Albany, Moraga Orinda, Richmond, and Contra Costa County Fire Departments. During these exercises, multiple fire engines and firefighters will operate throughout the area, practicing area familiarization, structure defense, and water zone reviews.
