Dimples Grand Reopening

After a devastating flood in January, Dimples Boutique is having their Grand Reopening this Saturday, March 28th! Dimples is a children's boutique that has a curated, eclectic selection of clothing, toys, books, and gifts for babies, toddlers, and kids.
Dimples is relocating to 1442 Walnut St, at the corner of Walnut and Vine. This new retail opening is an exciting development in North Shattuck - make sure to stop in, explore the new space, and see what they have for the little ones in your life.
At the Grand Reopening, they will have face painting and balloon twisting for kids, along with special treats and a welcoming space for families to come hang out, mingle, and shop.

The North Shattuck Association invites you to come and feast on the delights our amazing local businesses have created for you. This culinary celebration will include sweet and savory foods, adult and non-alcoholic beverages, and live entertainment as you hop from one location to the next.

Berkeley Restaurant Week
April 2 - 12
Berkeley Restaurant Week is back for its 14th year, from April 2nd to 12th! This year's BRW celebrates the season of renewal with its theme "Seeds of Spring." Berkeley will burst into bloom for a 10-day tribute to flavors rooted in spring's local bounty across Berkeley's vibrant dining landscape.
Over 65 participating restaurants, wineries, breweries, and other locations will be curating special offerings and extra-value menus across a few tasty tiers:
- $10-20: Seedling Tier
- $20-30: Sprout Tier
- $30-40: Bloom Tier
- $40+: Harvest Tier
- Sips of Spring - Waived Corkage Restaurants

The Passover menu at Saul's Deli is now available to order! You can order catering for some or all of your Seder menu, or you can join them to dine in at the restaurant. Get YOUR Tastes Tunned Up at the
Taste of Montclair Village

Tuesday, April 7 | 5pm - 8pm
Your friends in The Village invite the food and drink fans to kick off Taste season with the Taste of Montclair on the evening of Tuesday, April 7th! Local restaurants and businesses offer samples of delicious bites and libations — including craft beer and artisan wines — to ticketed patrons. Proceeds of the event will support the Montclair Village Association, a nonprofit and business improvement district serving the community for over 75 years.
Attendees will receive a Passport of well over 30 participating businesses offering delicious food from Montclair chefs and beverage samples from local craft producers. Visitors can experience family-friendly entertainment (crafts, balloon animals, face painting) and live music while enjoying their tastings at communal, table-style seating (Picnic on the Plaza).
Tickets are ON SALE NOW! The Adult Passport is $50, the Under 15 Passport is $20, and you can get a 4-pack of Adult Passports for $200, without having to pay the processing fees. PLUS, any Taste of Montclair Village patrons who become new supporters of the Montclair Cares Club will receive a $20 discount.
Strolling patrons will also discover merchant-hosted activities such as discount promotions, giveaways, and an opportunity to meet the business owners and staff. In addition to connecting with neighborhood residents and businesses, local leaders and representatives of the Montclair Village Association will be onsite to greet attendees.

North Berkeley Outdoor Gallery Project
The North Berkeley Outdoor Gallery Project is an initiative to showcase local creativity while bringing vibrancy and community spirit to the commercial district of North Shattuck. This outdoor gallery features thirty banners designed by thirteen East Bay-based artists.
The banners are newly displayed throughout North Berkeley, highlighting the incredible talent of the local artists and celebrating the cultural identity of the neighborhood. This project has been in the works for the last two years, and the North Shattuck Association and all the artists are thrilled that it has finally come to life, displayed for everyone to admire and enjoy.

Thursday Morning Neighborhood Walk - April 23

Where: Meet at Saul's Deli - 1475 Shattuck Ave
Every 4th Thursday of the month, walk Shattuck Avenue and the neighborhood with merchants and neighbors! The group will meet at Saul's Deli and walk down Shattuck Avenue, taking in the sights of the neighborhood. On this walk, special attention will be paid to the brand new outdoor gallery of banners with local art.
April 23rd - join featured guest walker
There will be complimentary coffee and a sweet treat to get you moving, courtesy of Sam from Saul's Deli!
These are the days where community connection matters most! Get out for the beautiful spring morning and get (re)acquainted with your neighborhood.

The meeting will also discuss the current status of Berkeley's Corridor Up-Zoning Proposal, and Board Chair Donald Simon and other board members will be presenting.
This meeting is open to everyone: merchants, renters, homeowners, all members of the Berkeley community. This community forum encourages everyone to bring questions and input to guide the upcoming actions.
