Locatik 1.0 release

Dear Locatik user,

We are glad to inform you that we have finished working on the newest
version of Locatik.

This one brings with itself most changes up to date.

The most important change, is that now you don't have to have a high-
end Nokia device to use Locatik! In fact you can use any phone you
like as long as it can access the Internet.

From today on, a mobile version of the service is available, you can
access it by going to m.locatik.com on your mobile browser. Our mobile
website is best viewed using Opera mini.

If you have a Locatik application compatible device a link to the
download of the application will be shown on top of the mobile website
(m.locatik.com), please upgrade to version 1.0.

The service is also available for access via SMS, for more information
regarding this topic see here.

There have also been a number of changes introduced on the Locatik
Website. You can now add comments to the Places your friends and other
users have set up, so the places you or your friends visit can now
turn into full out discussions.


Furthermore please watch Locatik for an upcoming iPhone application
that will be available soon.

So nice to hear version 1 is finally released but so bad to discover
it's still completely incompatible with E61 and WAP connection on
it :'(
