LocalGovCamp Lincoln

I shall pop this here, as well as the tweet I made last night.

I'm currently working with Dave to pull a LocalGovCamp together in
Lincoln. We don't have a concrete venue yet but the one we're
earmarking is pretty central, has easy access from the station, roads
and is also very close to the cities two Holiday Inn's.

So, would anyone be interested in visiting sleepy Lincoln for some
LocalGovCamp shenanigans?

I'd be up for coming along to this :) May even be able to cajole a
couple of others from round my way to pop over.
Any details of possible dates yet?

Bang up for it. I've not been back to Lincoln for years after going to
uni up there, so any excuse to revisit the old place would be most
welcome!

Sorry! For dates we're proabably looking at early to mid September if
that's not too soon. I'm emailing the venue today to try and get some
kind of dealio on the pricing.

Good stuff...will keep an eye out :)
I'll gauge interest from the rest of my team too...also have some
contacts in Lincoln so drop me a mail at work if you want to check
them out for sponsorship etc...might not go anywhere but if you don't
ask you don't get!

Excellent news! Well done Andrew for getting this off the ground. As a
yellow-belly myself, I'm delighted to see something happening in
Lincs!
