Hi everyone

Just thought I owed you a quick email about LocalGovCamb as time is
marching on. In case you don't remember, at some point you have signed
up to say you are interested in an informal event to talk about local
government and innovation, with a bit of a focus on technology
including the web.

Originally I had hoped to run the event in December or January.
However, with the national, public sector wide barcamp happening in
January (details at http://www.ukgovweb.org) it might be best to delay
our Cambridge event until February. That will also give us some time
to find a decent venue!

In the meantime, please do join the email group for LocalGovCamb
(http://groups.google.com/group/localgovcamb) and share ideas and
thoughts for the event and local government issues around Cambridge
generally.

And if anyone does have an idea for a venue....
