Aloha Hawaii! Tuesday January 24, 2012: Solidarity Rally Outside Monsanto! Maui, Hawaii: Activists will be peacefully protesting outside Monsanto's Hawaii 3555 Mokulele Hwy location on January 24th from 4-6pm. This action is in solidarity with an OCA, Pesticide Action Network and Harrington Investments (a socially responsible investment group) action at Monsanto's shareholders meeting in St. Louis. St. Louis, Missouri: Activists will be picketing peacefully outside the shareholders meeting, while an OCA representative will be speaking inside about a shareholder resolution to examine the financial risks associated with genetically engineered crops. Friday January 27, 2012: New Year's Celebration! Join GMO Free Kaua`i and Kaua`i Beekeepers Association for a New Year's celebration at the Children of the Land in Kapa`a, January 27th from 6:30-9:30 pm. The celebration will include a free poke bento dinner, film screening of "Living Downstream", and a community discussion with special guests and updates on the Waimea community complaint against Pioneer/Dupont Seed Company.
