Dear EUROAVIAns,

As Coordinator of the Alumni Working group, I would like to remind you all about our Alumni, and how important it is to keep track on them.

You should understand that everyone will soon be an engineer looking what to do. If EUROAVIA Alumni are strong and well organized , that will give you a hand in the future. So it benefits all to find as many alumni as we can and be organized better.

EUROAVIA is over 50 years old , so there are thousands of alumni.

Now, as a realistic engineer, let’s face reality:
  • The Alumni Working Group has, in the last 2-3 years, found around 140 alumni, some of them from the very beginning. When they were contacted from us, wondered WHY no-one had contacted them before.
  • Some alumni have joined our groups in social networks such Linkedin, Facebook, etc. and are sharing opinions, asking for professional opinion, etc.
  • Some attend Alumni Meetings (organized from EA) and are really amazed to see how EA is doing, find some old colleagues, etc.
  • Some are writing articles for the EA News, to share what they are currently doing, or give some advice to us, young&fresh people
     Therefore,

We need local groups help us to find alumni , either with their efforts either with providing us their emails (data are confidential and not shared to third parties) and Alumni Working Group tries to reach them.Second way is preferred because most times, changes in local groups stops efforts.

And remember, being member of EUROAVIA might be a temporary thing, but it is in your hands to keep the EUROAVIA spirit with you forever.

     Best Regards,

Ioannis Tsagarliotis
