An international event will be organized by Euroavia Toulouse, the next fall. It will go on for a complete week. Students from Euroavia chapters from all over Europe will participate in this event.
Below are various options for the international event.
1. Toulouse fly in:
A fly in is an event where the speciality of the place is showcased. In this case we could give participants a sneak peek into aerospace industry in and around Toulouse and a taste of culture and tradition Toulouse. Below are the various events it would comprise of.
a. Visit to A380 Final assemble line.
b. Visit to Altran.
c. Visit to Thales Alenia Space.
d. Visit to Aviation history museum, Toulouse.
e. Visit to Cite de l’Espace.
f. Visit to Obsevateur.
g. Lecture by an astronaut.
h. Spirit night.
i. Toulouse city visit.
j. Some more events will be organized depending on the time available.
2. Hybrid propulsion design workshop:
The goal is to design a highly efficient, economical aircraft which uses renewable sources of energy as the primary fuel source. Participants are expected to come up with a feasibility analysis of such an aircraft and present it. Below are the events it comprises of
a. Introduction to the idea of hybrid propulsion vehicle.
b. Lecture on structures, propulsion, aerodynamics, flight mechanics.
c. Debate on the same topics.
d. 3 days to come up with a good feasible design.
e. Visit to A380 FAL.
f. Design presentation on the final day.
3. Space debris removal workshop:
Space debris is one of the major concerns for the space agencies today. The aim of this workshop is to come up with a feasible and the most efficient way to tackle this problem and present a feasibility analysis of the same.
a. Introduction to the idea of Space debris removal.
b. Lecture by an astronaut.
c. Visit to Altran.
d. 3 days to come up with a good and feasible design.
e. Design presentation on the final day.
