Greetings Local Lefties,

I hope this email finds you well and ready to donate some of your time to Obama! I phonebanked at the SFObama headquarters last night and it's amazing how much it gets you fired up!

So, let's look ahead to the weekend. Even if you only have 1 hour to give, let me know- Every bit helps!

Obama Bakesale- this Saturday, 9/20 from noon-3pm

In front of the old Real Foods, on 24th St between Noe & Sanchez

We're still looking for volunteers to bake for Saturday's bakesale & to help me run the sale (collecting donations, peddling cookies, registering voters). Our two biggest bakers are unable to help this weekend so we need your help more than ever!

Even if you only have time to bake one batch of cookies or help at the sale for 1 hour, every donation helps! We raise a lot of money every time we do this and end up registering voters and getting more volunteers to help out.

Phonebanking @ The Ranch - this Sunday, 9/21 from 4pm-7pm

969 Dolores St. between 22nd & 23rd St.'s

Phone banking is a lot of fun and easier than you think! We're mainly calling Nevada to find out who the undecided or Obama-leaning voters are to assist the Nevada Obama team in identifying people who want more information.

Kerry only lost Nevada by 3 points in the last election, which translates only into a few thousand voters. It's amazing how effective it is for someone to get a friendly personal call from the Obama campaign, not pressuring or debating, just offering a link to information.

We'll have lots of snacks on hand to keep you going! Come join us!
