Hi Local Lefties!

Only one week to go (can you believe it?) and we're hoping to pool all our remaining energy for one last push before the election.  I hope everyone can give as much time as possible in these last few days to ensure that voters, in their over-confidence, don't forget the importance of getting out to vote.  Local Lefties will be gathering on Election Night at The Ranch (969 Dolores St. between 22nd & 23rd) starting at 8pm.  Feel free to drop by and bring pals while we celebrate an Obama victory (and hopefully No on Props 8 & 4!).

Our official Local Lefties phonebanking time will be Sunday from 3pm-8pm at SF Obama Headquarters (939 Market @ 6th) but you can help any day from 10am-8pm.  I'll be there from 1-9:30 on Sunday & Monday and then 1-8pm on election day and would love the company!

Hey AnnLarie! I'll be in town Thu-Sat but have to get back to LA on Sunday, I wish I could phone bank with you. I would love it if you could also urge people to vote YES on Props 1 and 2, high-speed rail (pushed through by CalPirg) and humane treatment of animals (pushed through by Humane Society), they're good bills. What are your Halloween plans? Angelique
