Good morning everyone, thank you for indicating that you plan to come to the CB meeting to speak in favor of this resolution. Your time and willingness is appreciated.

Several mentioned within their postings that it might be useful to orchestrate the comments. It is in this spirit that I am sharing the names and contact information of those planning to be there. At least that I know about.

Just a reminder--this meeting begins at 7 P in the Shields Room, Brookens. Pius Weibel is in Florida so Tom Betz, vice-chair, will be chairing the meeting. If you would like your comments put into the public record of the meeting and on the web site, hand in a hard copy to the vice-chair or Deb Busey after you speak.

A heads up--an individual mentioned to me after the meeting on 13 March that the individual was the first person to turn in a slip indicating a desire to speak, but was the last to do so. I mentioned this to Pius and suggested that the slips be numbered to reduce this problem. He communicate that he has no intention of taking any notice as to when a slip is put on the desk or handed to him.

As to the main issues of those who have voted "no" are: this ought to be something that extension does, another layer of government, another layer of government that will tell people what to do. Essentially my argument so far is that this is a policy council therefore it makes logical sense that the council be at the county level. Even more importantly this is in line with the county economic development policy posted on the county web site. In others words, no cost to the tax payers; yet, win-win for the whole county.

Any questions, do no hesitate to ask and thanks one more time, P2

P.S. I have received comments in support via email that I will enter into the public record.
