Did he say any of those versions?
No.. He said *PREMIUM*, which is around $1200 - $1300.
Sheesh, you're talking about the upgrades and OEM's. He's talking about the
full package.
READ before you post with your insults.

Well to me "Premium" means the Lite version.
Whats in this version that makes it different from the Office 2000 Prof.
Version then?

Firstly, you were quoting upgrade prices, not full retail prices.
Office Pro is around $850
Office Premium is the top of the bunch and contains everything in all the
others plus Frontpage 2000 and Photodraw 2000.
It's price is around $1200.

The Premium edition is the highest(most expensive) version. It goes
Standard, pro then premium. It contains Front page 2000 and some other
stuff.

Just so you know, i got a quote from Austin Computers for $650.
I even asked the manager of their Osbourne Park shop, and he said it was
the FULL PREMIUM Version of Office 2000.

Then it's either OEM or an Upgrade. OEM must be bought with a computer
system, an upgrade requires a valid upgrade product to be installed on
your machine first. (Licensed)

Then he's God.
Even ex-tax it's not that cheap.
Someone's bullshitting somewhere.
It's probably a repackaged second hand copy.

Well then, either

a) You're wrong
b) He's lying
c) He extremely generous and doesn't mind losing lots of money
d) It's an illegal copy (not necessarily known by the store)
e) It's an OEM copy (OEM copy are sill the full editions)

I'd be leaning towards a or e.

I don't know why you seem so intent on embarrassing yourself. I'm telling
you, "Microsoft Office 2000 Premium FULL edition" is priced around $1300
retail.

Of course the upgrade is cheaper.
Of course OEM versions are cheaper - but you have to buy a new computer to
qualify for that.

If you have nothing constructive to add to this thread, I politely suggest
you refrain from adding at all.
