Learn how to start a housing co-op
at the Meg Perry Center, 644 Congress St. Portland

Cooperative housing is a democratic form of multi-family home ownership where all the residents of a building are members of an organization that cooperatively owns the building where they live. It can be a more accessible, affordable and democratic form of home ownership.

Housing Cooperative in Lewiston, Oak Street Housing Co-op in Bath, Local Sprouts Cooperative, and Hour Exchange Portland.
At the end of the workshop we will have some time for people present to discuss starting a housing cooperative in Portland.
