Hi Everyone,

I hope you're all doing well and thriving.

November is almost here (yikes!) and it is amazing to think that in nearly four months we have grown to a group of 115 members.  In an effort to continue to grow the forum and share the local solutions movement to a broader audience, there are a couple of things we would like to accomplish between now and the end of the year.  One item on the to do list is to create an LSF logo, which was one of the ideas, along with starting a Dropbox folder, that came up in the survey a couple of months ago. The thought is that LSF members could (optionally) share the logo on your website that would link to the Forum's homepage.

We would like for the design and decision making process to be open to everyone.  Here's the plan for those who want to participate:

1.  Come up with a logo design, or even have someone you know volunteer create one
2.  Submit the design to me by December 1st
3.  Everyone will have an opportunity to vote on their favorite logo between December 2nd and the 16th
4.  Winning logo will be announced on the 17th with instructions on how to post it on your webpage

Attached is an early submission to help get the creative juices flowing.

Also in December we'll kick off a conversation about the direction of LSF in 2012.

We look forward to receiving your logo ideas!

Take Care,
Justine

Hi Justine,
Just wondering, what was the inspiration for the logo you have
attached? Were you looking for a variation on that particular logo?

Good questions, Nate. Thanks!

The logo was designed by a Spark team member's friend after they learned a bit about the forum.  It was only to serve as an example to help get the ball rolling.  You have 100% creative freedom.  Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.
